Volunteer with the Chronicle Project!

Chronicle is a Heritage Lottery Funded sponsored project run by VCS Cymru to collect stories and gather materials to share the story of the volunteer culture and history in Cardiff.

About the project

VCS Chronicle

Chronicle volunteers at the Riverside Festival in Cardiff, 20 August 2016.

As a volunteer with the project, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops and training sessions to acquire skills that will help you in the academic and cultural heritage sectors, including digitisation workshops, sound and video recording, media production, social media, and website building.

We also offer opportunities to earn Spice Time Credits, and digitisation certification by the National Library of Wales. You can also get your foot in the door by meeting and working with our project partners, including the Cardiff Story and Glamorgan Archives.

You can find some more answers to questions by reading our FAQs here. If you think this is a project you’d like to join, you can get in touch with us via any of our social media outlets or emailing us:
